COMMUNITY CREED

The Garden-Now is an online community that provides resources for personal growth and development. This community, based in joy, will thrive, grow and prosper as it empowers its members to experience the joy of being alive and pass it on.

We believe: 

• In the Golden Rule: “‘Never do to anyone what you would not have done to yourself.'
  ‘Treat others as you would like to be treated.’”
  Or, if you prefer,

  “What is hateful to do, do not to your fellow man.” Hillel
  “Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you.” Muhammad
  “What you do not want others to do to you, do not do to others.” Confucius
• That all of Life is sacred be it child, creature or culture.
• There are thousands of paths that lead to wholeness and unity. Anything that moves you,
  physically, mentally or spiritually, allows your soul to thrive.
• If you want to be heard, listen. If you want to be respected, show respect. If you want to be appreciated, be grateful.
• In abundance. Through the interconnectedness of Life, all giving is receiving.
• That integrity is essential to trust.
• In congruency of words and actions.
• In the practice of forgiveness, kindness, generosity, compassion and empathy toward all of Life in our daily lives.
• That balancing the triple bottom line of People, Planet and Profit is the ultimate measure of success for all of Life.
• That we are living in a magnificently transformational time of spiritual and religious awakening.
• That ultimately, the only person you can change is yourself. By focusing on your own growth and development, your life becomes a living, breathing expression of who you truly are, having a profound effect on the world.

In order to maintain a healthy growing environment, we ask that all members read and agree to The Garden Community Creed. We also encourage our members to report weed sightings, and reserve the right to pull unsightly weeds.
