I attended the March 28 screening of 'Once More With Feeling' and was wondering if anyone else who saw it had the sensation that the image was "squatted" somewhat, like when those TV screens at stores want to show off their widescreen 16x9 and use footage shot that was meant to be shown otherwise. In cinema sites, it often boils down to settings on the video projector.
I enjoyed the film, but since it had a subplot that dealt with 'body weight' issues, I thought it ironic--or maybe it was just my eyesight or sitting close to the screen--that characters looked more stout than intended. Surely this is not the filmmaker's fault. And, indeed, the short that ran before the film seemed well-presented in full frame. Any thoughts?
