Food, Inc is an amazing and important piece of work that could literally save your life or the life of someone you know. This film opened my eyes to the horrors of the modern day food industry and asked me to act in small, yet effective ways. I will never look at food the same way again. This should be required viewing for anyone that eats.

I was surprised to learn that 98% of all soybeans grown in the USA are grown for Monsanto using their genetically-modified seeds. Monsanto even has a seed police that actively persecutes farmers suspected of tampering or underusing the seeds.

BUY ORGANIC SOYBEAN FOOD PRODUCTS!!!

In fact, I'm renewing my commitment to buy from local markets selling products from local farmers. I heard The Garden Now is going to start focusing on buy-local food and nutrition. Looking forward to having a resource to help me find what I'm looking for.
